The Columbia 4L-4R Curette is a versatile periodontal instrument designed for thorough supra- and subgingival scaling and root planing. Because of its universal design, it can be used on nearly all tooth surfaces — from incisors and canines to premolars, and acceptable for many posterior tasks — making it a staple in dental hygiene and periodontal therapy sets.

The curette’s double-ended configuration (4L and 4R working ends ) allows clinicians to alternate cutting edges simply by tilting the instrument, increasing efficiency and reducing the need to switch instruments mid-procedure.
