Hank uterine dilator, size 13-14, double-ended, with a 6.5 mm end and a 7 mm end. Hank dilators have a gentle taper and are used to open the cervical canal step by step before dilation and curettage, hysteroscopy, IUD insertion and other intrauterine procedures.
Because each dilator carries two consecutive sizes, the surgeon can move to the next size simply by turning the instrument around. Hank dilators are sold individually and in graduated sets, so a single size like this one is often used to replace a missing piece in an existing set.
