The Arthro Punch Left, 90° 3.5mm is a brand-new arthroscopic punch with a 3.5mm jaw angled 90° to the left of the shaft.
A 90° side-biting jaw is used to trim tissue that lies at right angles to the portal, such as the inner rim of a meniscus, without having to swing the whole instrument across the joint. The left-hand angle is selected according to which side of the joint and which portal the surgeon is working from, and the 3.5mm bite suits controlled, measured trimming.
