The Arthro-Pro cord cutter is an arthroscopic suture cutter with a slide action and a tungsten carbide (T/C) blade. It is supplied brand new.
After a knot is tied during arthroscopic repair, the cutter is slid down the suture limbs to the knot and the blade is advanced to trim the ends cleanly and close to the knot. The tungsten carbide blade holds its edge for repeated cuts on tough braided suture.
