This is an arthroscopic suture-piercing forceps, 3.5mm x 15cm, with a pointed, tapered tip angled 15° upward. It is supplied brand new.
The 15° up-angled tip reaches tissue that sits slightly above the line of the portal, such as the labrum or rotator cuff edge, and pierces it to grasp suture on the other side. It is often used alongside the straight version during arthroscopic repair.
