Twist elevator for posterior teeth, left-side version, with a titanium gold finish. The tip is worked into the periodontal ligament space alongside the root and turned with a twisting motion of the wrist, which stretches and severs the ligament fibres and loosens the tooth before it is lifted out or delivered with forceps.
The posterior pattern is shaped to reach premolars and molars at the back of the mouth, and the left version is angled to work on that side of the arch. It pairs with the posterior right twist elevator, and anterior versions are available for incisors and canines.
