Penfield Dissector #5

During neurosurgery treatments, the Penfield Dissector #5 is a double-ended surgical tool used for accurate manipulation and dissection of brain tissues. Both ends of it have blunt, slightly curled points that are roughly 7 mm and 8 mm wide. This dissector is very helpful for retracting, manipulating, and dissecting nerves, veins, bones, and tissues during surgeries such craniotomies, carotid endarterectomies, and spinal procedures. Its entire length is around 11.5 inches (29.2 cm).
