Set of five Gracey curettes with a sterilizing cassette. The set covers Gracey 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10. Gracey curettes are area-specific periodontal instruments used for scaling and root planing below the gumline.
Each Gracey has a single cutting edge offset to the shank, so the blade sits flat against the root surface in a particular area of the mouth. In this range, 1/2 and 3/4 are designed for anterior teeth, 5/6 for anterior and premolar teeth, and 7/8 and 9/10 for the buccal and lingual surfaces of posterior teeth. The cassette keeps the set organized through cleaning, sterilization and storage.
