About this instrument
Cord packers press gingival retraction cord into the sulcus before impressions or scans for crowns and bridges, so the preparation margin is exposed and captured accurately. The fine serrations on the 7A grip the cord without shredding it, and the slight curve follows the contour of anterior teeth.
