Heidbrink root tip pick, No. 2, in surgical stainless steel. Heidbrink picks have a very fine, pointed blade used to tease small fractured root tips out of the socket after an extraction, where an elevator or forceps would be too large.
The pick is slipped between the root fragment and the socket wall and used to lift the fragment out with gentle pressure. The numbered Heidbrink range offers different working angles to reach root tips anywhere in the arch. Lightweight, large-diameter handle for control; stain-resistant finish.
