Hoke chisel, straight, 14 cm long with a 16 mm blade. A chisel is bevelled on one side only, so it cuts with a flat face against the bone. This makes it suited to removing a thin layer, squaring an edge or cutting a precise flat surface, for example in foot and ankle surgery and hand surgery.
The short 14 cm length gives control in small operative fields. Hoke chisels are often stocked alongside matching Hoke osteotomes in the same widths. German surgical-steel construction.
