The Inge lamina spreader is placed between adjacent laminae or spinous processes and opened with its ratchet to spread the vertebrae apart. That widens the interlaminar space, giving better access to the disc and spinal canal during laminectomy, discectomy and fusion procedures.
The ratchet holds the spread steady so the surgeon has both hands free to work. Available in 17 cm and 27 cm working lengths for different exposures. German surgical-steel construction, fully autoclavable.
