About this instrument
The Olivecrona saw is a flexible, serrated wire saw used with a pair of saw handles. In craniotomy it is passed between burr holes, often with a saw guide, to cut the bone flap from the inside out. Choose the length to suit the distance between burr holes and the size of the handles.
