Forceps are the most-used grasping instruments in surgery, and the right pattern depends entirely on what you are handling — delicate neural tissue, a vessel, a specimen, or a suture needle. This is the deepest single category in our catalog, spanning microsurgical, tumor, biopsy, capsule, and needle-holding patterns across neurosurgical, vascular, urological, and general surgical use.
Our range is built around named specialty patterns rather than generic descriptions, so if you already work with a specific instrument you can search it directly by name. Individual practices can order any instrument from this collection. Distributors, hospital procurement teams, and buyers working to a tender or RFQ can contact our team for bulk pricing and quoted line items.

View full detailsTip profile. Cupped and spoon tips hold tissue or a specimen without shearing it. Serrated tips grip more securely. Smooth, non-serrated tips are chosen where the tissue needs to stay intact.
Straight, curved, or bayonet. Straight instruments suit direct, accessible access. Curved jaws reach around structures. Bayonet-shaped instruments offset the shaft away from your hand, keeping both out of the sightline when working down a narrow corridor — which is why so many microsurgical patterns use this profile.
Working length. Deep-field work needs longer shafts. Shorter instruments give more control in superficial fields.
Handle and lock. Spring handles give fast, repeated grasp-and-release with fine tactile feedback. Locking handles hold position without sustained hand pressure, which matters through longer procedures.
Why are so many microsurgical instruments bayonet-shaped?
The bayonet offset moves the shaft and your hand out of the line of sight down a narrow operative corridor, so you keep a clear view of the tip while working at depth. It is standard on neurosurgical and other deep-field microinstruments.
Do you supply needle holders?
Yes. Needle holders are stocked in both micro and standard patterns, with straight and curved jaws and locking or non-locking handles, and are listed within this collection alongside the forceps range.
Do you sell to individual practices as well as distributors?
Both. Every instrument here can be ordered individually, and we also supply distributors and hospital procurement teams at volume pricing.
Can you support RFQs and tender responses?
Yes. Send us your instrument schedule and our team will respond with quoted line-item pricing.
