This is a 3.5mm arthroscopic biopsy grasper without a ratchet, supplied brand new.
The cupped biopsy jaws take a small tissue sample from inside the joint for examination. Without a ratchet, the jaws open as soon as the grip is released, which many surgeons prefer for quick, repeated bites. The 3.5mm shaft passes through a standard arthroscopy portal. A ratchet version is also available.
