The DDP Elite USA bipolar cutting loop electrode, model DEU-HYSA00020, is a 22Fr loop for bipolar resection in saline. It is supplied brand new and is used with our 22Fr bipolar resectoscope.
The loop is drawn back toward the sheath to cut chips of tissue, for example in prostate, bladder tumor or hysteroscopic resection. The 22Fr size suits the smaller resectoscope.

In a bipolar resectoscope the current returns through the instrument rather than a patient pad, which allows resection in saline. Loops cut tissue, while balls and rollers coagulate or vaporize it.
