This is a brand-new diagnostic hysteroscopy sheath with a 5mm outer diameter, for a 4mm 30° scope.
The 5mm sheath fits over the larger 4mm telescope, which gives a brighter and wider image than a 2.9mm scope. It is chosen when image quality matters more than the smallest outer size, for diagnostic inspection of the uterine cavity and tubal openings.
