Orthodontic Instruments
Orthodontic instruments sorted by stage of treatment: placing brackets, forming and adjusting wires, seating elastics, trimming and cutting, and finally removing bands, brackets and adhesive. Each stage has its own tools, and a missing one usually means improvising with the wrong plier.
The range covers bracket placers, forming and bending pliers, distal end cutters, band and bracket removers, clear aligner pliers and supporting instruments such as cotton pliers and photographic mirrors. Order any instrument singly, or ask us to quote a full chairside set.

Bonding to Debonding
At the start of treatment the job is placement: brackets have to go on exactly where they belong, so bracket placers hold them by the wings and position them without touching the bonding base. Through treatment, wires are formed, bent and ligated with pliers and Mathieu elastic placers. At the end, removal pliers lift brackets off and adhesive removers clean the enamel. The instruments here follow that sequence.
How to Choose
Start with the procedures you do most. A fixed-appliance practice needs placers, forming pliers, distal end cutters and removers. An aligner-focused practice leans on aligner pliers and attachment tools.
Check the tip. Serrated tips hold wire; smooth tips avoid marking it; carbide inserts last longer.
Replacement tips. Some pliers take replaceable tips, which are listed alongside them.
