A lingual photographic mirror for intraoral dental photography. It is placed against the tongue side of the lower or upper arch so the camera can capture the lingual surfaces of the teeth, which cannot be photographed directly.
Intraoral mirrors like this are used to record cases for treatment planning, orthodontic progress records, patient education and lab communication. The narrow shape is designed to fit inside the arch without crowding the tongue. Handle the reflective surface carefully and clean it as the manufacturer recommends to avoid scratches.
