Reusable or Disposable?

Reusable take-apart instruments cost less per case over time and can be reprocessed; inserts are replaced when jaws wear. Disposable tips remove reprocessing and give a consistent new tip every case, at a higher per-case cost. Many departments keep both.

How to Choose

System. Match the insert, shaft and handle to your platform and diameter.

Loop type. For resectoscopy, match loop shape and size to the working element and the procedure (cutting loop, ball or roller).
