Hysteroscopes
Hysteroscopy looks inside the uterus through the cervix, without an incision. A diagnostic hysteroscope only needs a scope and a sheath. An operative one adds working channels, continuous flow and a set of semi-rigid instruments small enough to pass through them. This collection covers both.
More than 160 items are listed: complete Olympus, Storz and Smith & Nephew hysteroscope sets, the sheaths, bridges and obturators that make them work, hystero-resectoscope loops and working elements, and 5–7Fr semi-rigid forceps and scissors. Order a single sheath or replacement part, or ask us to quote a complete system.

Why Continuous Flow?
The uterine cavity is a closed space. To see inside it, it has to be distended with fluid, and that fluid clouds quickly with blood and debris. A continuous-flow system uses an inner sheath to bring fluid in and an outer sheath to draw it out. The view stays clear and the pressure stays steady without pausing to flush.
That is why so many listings here are sheath pairs: the inner and outer sheaths, and the bridge that connects them to the scope, have to match.
How to Choose
Diagnostic or operative. A diagnostic sheath is slim and quick. An operative sheath adds a working channel for semi-rigid instruments.
Outer diameter. Smaller diameters (around 4–5.5mm) suit office hysteroscopy with little or no dilation. Larger operative systems and 22Fr resectoscopes handle fibroids and polyps.
System compatibility. Sheaths, bridges and working elements are system-specific. Each listing names the platform — Storz, Olympus, Wolf — or states the Storz- or Olympus-style fitting.
Instrument size. Semi-rigid forceps and scissors are listed by French size and length; match them to the working channel.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Bettocchi hysteroscope?
A Storz office hysteroscopy system with a slim oval sheath, designed so diagnostic and simple operative procedures can be done with little or no cervical dilation.
What is the difference between a hysteroscope and a hystero-resectoscope?
A hysteroscope is for viewing and passing small instruments. A resectoscope adds an electrosurgical working element with loops or rollers for cutting and coagulating tissue.
Do you sell sheaths separately?
Yes. Inner and outer sheaths, bridges and obturators are all listed individually.
